About the event
Project CANOPY (Cultivating and Nurturing Our Planet's Youth) is a collaboration with Bexar Branches Alliance and Northside Independent School District to plant 510 trees with 4th and 5th-grade students at five selected Elementary Schools. These schools have been chosen due to being identified as "High risk" due to heat island effect, Social Vulnerability, and Equity.Â
*****ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST COMPLETE THE Project CANOPY Volunteer Registration Form. Â Â (NISD Background check is included in the form.)*****
Volunteers will not be allowed on any NISD campus without a completed background check.
