About the event
Come celebrate Texas Arbor Day with us! *****ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST COMPLETE THE Project CANOPY Volunteer Registration Form. (NISD Background check is included in the form.)*****
Project CANOPY (Cultivating and Nurturing Our Planet's Youth) is a collaboration with Bexar Branches Alliance and Northside Independent School District to plant 510 trees with 4th and 5th-grade students at five selected Elementary Schools. These schools have been chosen due to being identified as "High risk" due to heat island effect, Social Vulnerability, and Equity.Â
Volunteers will not be allowed on any NISD campus without a completed background check.
