About the event

Attention all Tree Buds! 

All Tree Buds Work Days are scheduled to start at 8:30 am and finish at 12:00pm. The scope of work will be pruning trees for improved structure and performing root collar excavations. We will also do field training to inventory and document the work performed on trees.

Remember to dress appropriately for the work we will do and the weather conditions. The work of pruning trees and excavating tree root collars can be strenuous. Bring water/drink, and a snack. It is important to stay hydrated and keep your energy levels maintained. 

After the workday, we will gather for a volunteer lunch and celebration of another successful year,

Work: tree pruning and root collar excavations

Dress: appropriate for the weather and work (recommend layers and good work shoes)

Bring: water bottle, snacks
